Audi has launched the new Q3 in India with a starting price of Rs. 51.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The premium compact SUV arrives with a refreshed design, updated features, and a familiar engine lineup. The new Q3 competes in a crowded segment that includes rivals from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo. According to analysts, the launch is timed to capitalise on the festive season demand in October 2026.
The exterior of the new Audi Q3 features a revised octagonal grille, sharper LED headlamps, and a sculpted bumper. The rear gets updated LED tail lamps and a reworked diffuser. Inside, the cabin sports a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and a panoramic sunroof. The Q3 continues to offer premium upholstery and a host of driver assistance features. Analysts say that the feature list is competitive for the price point.
| Variant | Price (ex-showroom) |

| Q3 Bold Edition | Rs. 56.99 lakh |
Under the hood, the new Q3 is powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine that produces 190 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and comes with Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system as standard. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.6 seconds. Analysts note that the powertrain remains unchanged from the previous model, which is a proven and reliable setup.
"The new Audi Q3 offers a compelling blend of luxury, performance, and everyday usability. With its revised styling and feature-rich cabin, it strengthens Audi's position in the premium compact SUV segment," analysts say.
The new Q3 is available in five exterior colours: Glacier White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Tango Red, and Chronos Grey. Bookings are open at all Audi dealerships across India, and deliveries are expected to begin later this month. The SUV comes with a standard warranty of two years, which can be extended. Analysts expect the Q3 to contribute significantly to Audi's sales volume in the coming months.
In terms of safety, the new Q3 is equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. It also gets a rear-view camera and parking sensors. The Q3 has not been tested by Global NCAP, but the previous generation scored well in European NCAP tests. Analysts say that safety remains a key consideration for buyers in this segment.
The launch of the new Q3 comes at a time when the Indian luxury car market is witnessing steady growth. Audi India has been expanding its dealership network and introducing new models to cater to increasing demand. Analysts believe that the Q3's competitive pricing and strong brand equity will help it attract buyers. The SUV will be available in three variants, with the top-end Bold Edition offering additional cosmetic enhancements.
